Is there a special reason why so many Mexican players are heading to Europe this time ? That wasn't the case after former World Cups
But I like it

Probably because of Rafa Marquez & Borgetti & because Mexico won the U-17 World Championship so that also includes Giovanni Dos Santos & Carlos Vela as reasons why.

Hey speaking of Vela, I heard we was back with Arsenal now after being on loan with Celta. Is this true? Does this mean that we will probably get to see him play next season??

I'm not sure. Last thing I heard was that they had to wait till he was 18. Then they could sign him. Arsenal gets first pick, Arsenal and Celta are like togethor or something. Forgot what it was but when he turns 18, if he hasnt, Arsenal gets first pick.

Thats what i remember. Plus if Vela was doing well, don;t u think that Celta will have played him already. Or Atlast said that they are going to be him in their First team.

They has some kind of partnership. Like Tigres have with Fc Dallas ( MLS) that they share information between each other.

Does anybody know of a rumor going around that Stuttgart hired Osorio thinking it was Salcido? This rumor seems to be going around the ESPN forum.

Carlos Salcido has started preparations for the 2006-2007 season. He joined the four players who appeared a t the World Cup 2006, all of whom had been given extra time to recover. The Mexican defender, who recently completed a four-year-deal with PSV, reported at PSV for his first day of pre-season training.

Salcido met his new team mates last Saturday and watched the pre-season FC Eindhoven-PSV friendly (0-4). So today he put on his football boots in Holland for the first time and trained under probably familiar circumstances: people in Holland feel the effects of a second summery heat wave. After 26-year-old Salcido had been training on the pitch for half an hour, he went to the woods where he did running exercises with Cocu, Culina, Ooijer, Addo and Vennegoor of Hesselink. Salcido, who will head off to England tomorrow with the squad for a six-day training camp, will wear the No 23 shirt for PSV next season. "It’s great to be here. The training ground is very impressive and I think we have a strong squad."
The Mexican intends to integrate quickly; he has already asked for a number of Dutch words and football idiomatic expressions.
