Guys before you get confused this is not Kolo Toure who plays for Arsenals Its his Brother Yaya Toure who plays for another team.

Yaya is far far better than Appihia Api has no sense of postition and gets cought out way to many times in the WC and in the EPL that would be suicide if u had aCDM who couldnt keep his position.
Weras yaya is technicaly, positionaly and prolly just as damn enregetic and maybe faster than appihia plus he is taller.
yaya Toure is easily the better player. Plus he can also pass better aswell.

mm, i dont realy agree, in the wc i thought appiah looked very organised and was a very good Arcitect of moves going forward and had alot of leadership qualities and helped out in defending also.
But thanks for your opinion mate

It was highlighted many times in MOTD he was getting ripped into after the ghana v Chech game and that was supposed to abe a great performance from him.
They showed countless amounts of footage of him out of position when he was needed in his CM role but he was up Front or On the flanks or not tracking there marker.
If he was good enough for Arsenal we would have signed him lasts season as part of the Vieira deal he was offerd but we rejected it.
But fair enough he did look impressive but Aphia didnt play against anything like Holland or Argentina weras Yaya did and he was breathtaking, Aphia wouldnt be as good vs teams like that and therfore i dont think he could hack it playing at Arsenal compared to Yaya Toure.

Yaya may be better than Appiah, but his silly brain will destroy his carreer. Because of the idiot manager he has (Dmitri Selouk) risks his carreer in danger by not arriving for pre-season training with olympiakos and target to be selled for few euros... Of course Olympiakos wont forgive this easily and will go to FIFA and stop his contract for 6 months. Selouk has the 50% of Toure rights and use him to make money from him... a very good talent but not smart and profesional enough to make a good carreer in a high class championship

Yaya Toure has a lot of flair whereas Appiah is more of the workhorse type. But for consistency's sake i'd go with Appiah

That's the most stupid comment I've ever heard!
Appiah is easily the better player although Toure might surpass him in the future!
I'd rather Arsenal get Toure because Appiah is better!

SOme of you guys dont see Appiah play. I see him play every week for my team and he is far better than Yaya. He has a mean shot on him. About 90% of his goals last season were from outside the box and one of his goals was a cracker against Schalke in the Champions League. His a great passer and can tackle really well. If anyone wants to see the Schalke goal just give me a shout. I dont really see yaya scoring like him. And APpiah is not a bad tempered player. You have the wrong person

I would go for Appiah as he is more of a leader and has more experience. He led the Ghanaian team to their first ever WC qualification and the second round. His shots are very good and he is a better crosser and passer. YaYa is an upcoming talent and putting him with his brother and under the management of Arsene Wenger might see him develop into another Samuel Etoo. Also as someone said Appiah's goals are outstanding and he was awarded the 'Best goal of UCL Group Stages in 2005' against Schalke.

I would agree that Appiah does make some mistakes, but I think that's something he can fix with some time. Appiah to me is the better player, offensively and when it comes to such things as experience and leadership. Appiah is a strong guy on the ball and can really show pace and ability.
