i was browsing ebay and i found messi's boots..the upper design is a bit weird and it looks like a side fold over tongue..I got excited because i read some time ago about a guy posting about the new tunits design..i think these are the new design..

so guys correct me if i am wrong.

well its more a special edition for messi i think because the new tunit will have a totally diff design the guy said ... but it gives an idea of how it could look like

btw to me it doesnt look like a cleaner strike surface it more looks like an uncleaner strike surface ... so why should adidas do this

Nope he pretty much described it like that, the tounge coming from the inside of the boot which is what this boot has, and the internal heel counter looks a little wider and more visable! The toe box looks a little neater then the other one but the stiching of the tounge still doesnt quite fit the boot!

but the design will be totally different ... thats what we meant

Yeah Juventus, the toebox is a bit more round and the heel counter is more visable...i think ill be saving for a while to get a pair, if they improved the stud problems that some people have.

i think these are just the proffesional verson, like the f50+ that i found, there was no plastic webbing, it was sewn on and there was no funny material it was leather, this just looks like the version that they are makin for the pros

Yes but nonetheless, there will be a new Tunit design and it by the sounds of it, it'll be very close to this version, although i do agree with you that these are the professional version like the F50+'s with leather.

Maybe adidas designed it with the original tunit colors so no one will tell, but had Messi test out how it was.

these arent the professional version because no pro wore them so far beneath messi ... otherwise we would have noticed it ... they more seem like either a special one just for messi or (what i believe) they are a kind off prototype for the tunit 2

I also think adidas was using a new design with the same old colours..

that has got to be one of the best ways to test out the new models of tunits...come on, nobody noticed this until today

ok i'll just repharse what i tried to say, what colour could the boots be in so that use guys would recognise that they are different because tunits come in all colours from white to black and green to orange and yellow, pretty much the only colour left is pink!

But don't the new Tunits have a more conventional shaped toebox?

wow great find!! thats just how they were described..im sure the design will be a bit different, but they still look nice with the lace cover

i wonder if the studs are screwed in or permanently attached but without a separate outsole like ze roberto's. Cause if you think about it, the pros probably don't want to waste time switching studs like us regular people, so maybe they have tunits that are permanently pre-tuned. But those Messi tunits are pretty sick, i like the customization, how it's not on the tounge like Del Piero's.

Not too keen on the 3 stripes on the forefoot...but other then that, they're hot, don't look as chunky either!

i liked the old design way more so far ... but why do the studs looks so unlike adidas studs ... normally adidas studs do look totally different ... you are 100% sure that these are 100% authentic ???

these are testing shoes from adidas! they are always black!

the new colors will be white with black stripes, blue with white stripes and i heard something about a orange colorway!!!

Other than the tongue, those look really really nasty.

theyre samples, so they wont be just like ones that they will eventually retail..but IMO, theyre pretty ugly..the stripes on the forefoot don't look too great really, while the tongue looks alright.

I like them a lot better than the older model. The tounge looks really good.

3. im sure if they were looking for boot testers, it would be easier to find them.
4. and if you havent gotten the clue from the first 3 points, they dont need boot testers.

I quite like them. Hopefully they'll bring out a new chassis and stud system to fix the problems being currently experienced.
