Ok, so I'm planning on doing the infamous shower trick with my new pair of Absolutes because I've heard it really works. However, I've never done it before. I was just wondering if anybody else has done this with their Absolutes and if they could describe what they did and the results they got.

I just got a pair of CL Absolutes in US9.5 and my last pair of Absolutes were US10. The US10 pair fit well but were a little long around the toes. The US9.5 pair is the perfect length but tight around the top of the foot. Would the shower trick work to stretch and mold these Absolutes around my foot.

i would suggest just wearing them around the house and breaking them in before doing the shower trick, as it can loosen glue etc.

I know there have been a lot of shower trick topics, but I was looking for anybody who had done the shower trick with the Absolutes and could tell me how it turned out.

yeah, i have, it worked out beautifully, however it soaks the leather a lot so you either wear them or stuff them with newspaper after you're done.....let them dry for a long time or put a large fan over them.....they were soooo good for me...
