Played in the weekend is torrential rainpour...
No complains about the boots (yay for nomis glove)

however my socks became so wet to the point that they became "squishy" when i move...
its kinda annoying
anyone knows of any type of socks that absorb water to a lesser extent?
Ayresome
i don't think so mate.
Timho
i dont think that there are any socks doing that
Hello_Nomis
Hey that's a great idea to put to Simon actually - to develop a sock/inner sock/outer sock to go with the Wet Control boots that rejects moisture... or is that totally impractical?
Sky
If it rejects moisture, it keeps your sweat inside... your feet would look like that of a Vietnam veteran who's been out in the jungle for a week!

You can buy Gore Tex (waterproof) outer socks for cycling/backpacking. You wear them over normal socks, but they are bulky, not very form fitting and I’m not sure how comfortable they would be to play football in.

i dont even think they sell woolen socks anymore but don't buy those. i think team replica socks are better.

Actually, Merino Wool is very good at moisture control and had excellent wicking ability (drawing moisture away from the skin). It is also highly breathable, self temperature regulating and has natural anti-microbial properties (no more smelly feet).

wear nike socks, they are MUCH thinner then adidas, puma, diadora, etc...
