FSC:
Strong English, some French, some German, scant Italian, int. friendlies
Gol TV:
Strong Spanish, strong Italian, some Brazilian, some other S. American
Luckily, I will be getting both for only a $10 per month upgrade from my current package (total about $60 per month)...Dish Network's "Top 180."

That is because they are only showing re-runs right now since it is off season for all of the "major" European leagues. Here is, what I presume, they are showing next season as it seems to be current information:

Barely anyone gets Setanta unless you have DirecTV which is frustrating to say the least. And Setanta gets the most amount of European games.

Lucky Josh.
I am hoping that FSC shows alot of Reading's games. I know they aren't in high demand so it shouldn't be too had to get the rights, but I am sure plenty of Americans would tune in. Well plenty of Americans that already have FSC.

I am so excited about Reading too. I haven't seen Bobby on a regular basis since the DC United games, but I will be so pissed if they do a Sunderland. Coming up in first place and then doing terribly.

Great game by Reading this weekend, and it looks like FSC got the rights to next weeks game too. Good to see. And we get the Watford game on Tuesday live. Hopefully Demerit is fully recovered or atleast gets alittle time. Can't wait to see him play.

Not to ruin the game that aired today between Watford and West Ham United, Jay Demerit played the whole game, and Spector didn't play a minute.

A good mix in Canada is Rogers Sportsnet, which shows Live matches on Saturday Morning, then Fox Sports World Canada in the afternoon for the later matches. If you have both, its possibly to watch three Premiership matches live on Saturday, when a couple matches on Sunday as well.

Just a reminder, Beasley, Claudio Reyna, Convey, and Hanheman should all be in action tomorrow in the Man City/Reading game on FSC live at 3 eastern standard time.
Also, this week is the start of the Champs league. Remember to watch them, 2:30 on tuesday and wednesday this year on espn2.

1-0 Victory for Reading!!

Bobby had some amazing set pieces in particular his free kick that the Icelandish centerback who I cant pronounce or spell, headed in. JRLM8 we should just create an Americans for Reading official thread.

We should but I get the feeling it would just be me and you talking, Shalrie. I think we should atleast get a Yanks Abroad thread going where we could discuss how awesome it was to see McBride score then Bocanegra score in the closing minutes of that game to give Fulham the win. Especially after Boca has been riding the bench. And that service from Convey was awesome. I thought the Man City should have got a red for the slide tackle from behind on convey. there was no intent for the ball. well that was a good win. and great shut out for hanheman.
beasley is still resting that hammy, thats why he wasnt dressed.

I was talking about something completely different. The movie "The Greatest Match Ever Played" came out on DVD this week. About the US national team vs England match.
The thing on tonight, is the ESPN production of the NY Cosmos story.
Sorry for the confusion, I was just making sure people knew that the other movie had come out on DVD, because I didn't til I saw it at blockbuster.

I thought it was pretty good. I have never known that much about the NASL except for word of mouth from former coaches. (it was before my time) So seeing this documentary was really interesting to me. I like how no one knew how much Pele got paid. haha. And Giorgio was an ass, but some of his comments were funny as hell.
that was crazy about beckenbauer and the captain of the US WC team in 90. small world.

Yeah, I enjoyed it a great deal. I was just a young kid back then so it was very interesting to learn more about the behind the scenes bit.
I knew that Giorgio Chanigalia was a controversial character but I never realized what a total asshole he is!
Pepe, get me some cigarettes!
I also found it quite humorous how they did the post-bios in the credits....especially Chanigalia's & Pele's.
