Since hes been told he can leave for free i thought it wold be nice to say bye to the big man and thanx for the memories he has given us.

Wish he could stay somehow . Great servant to Rangers Football Club always will be remebered by the rangers fans . Good luck to him in the future and whatever club he goes to .

It's a real shame he couldn't play for us in the WC and now this, but I hope he at least stays in the SPL. We were so proud to have a Rangers player in our squad.

speaking of gretna, they beat us 4-0 in the closed door match, but it was reserves and Bob Malcom and Olivier Bernard have been told they are not needed also

Speaking of Big Marv leaving, does that mean that JKPF has a bit of a future, as we're left with 3 centre halfs

Big Marv has been a cult hero for us, and to think he got booked twice in the SPL through his career with Livi and us is quite frightening and shows he played the game the way it should be, hard and fair

I don't recally anyone being injured after a Big Marv collision, although I remember laughing for about 10 minutes when Konté of Hibs got battered into the main stand by him after a 40yard Marv charge

great player, love to see him at Hibs , him and Jones could be fantastic

He's easily SPL class and could do a job for anybody in the top league

Off the top of my head think back to the 1-0 game at tynie last year when after scoring the winner Roman Bednar was put out for 4 months after a marvin andrews 'special'.
