at what besides finishing inside the box for chelsea and managing to not show up for big games and have the most shots in the world cup and not score.

dinho and gerrard are my two most technical skilled players, good passing and creating and finishing

are you kidding me ? the only aspect of the game where Lampard is better then Cesc is in getting deflected goals, no one does that better then Fat Lampard.
On the topic, surpised to see no one has mentioned Riquelme, he is for me the most technical player, he doesnt have pace, not physical his game is all abt technique.
Nakata used to be technical too ofcourse no way the most technical but he is one of my fav. so had to mention him.

Messi is one of the best to me. His passing is good, they are at the right speed and place. His control is good for accepting passes, the balls are usually where they need to be after his first touch. His dribbling is great, always keeps control over the ball even at high speed and never lets the ball get too far away from him.
Ronaldinho is great too of course. And also Riquelme.

Personally I feel sometimes Messi doesn't pass effectively enough. He does well, of course, but he does make some weak passes at times.

Messi has very good vision, but his passing is not the best - maybe because he plays at such a fast pace
but i wont be surprised if he improves his passing soon

Has to be Ronaldinho, the man is a genius, with his skills on the pitch, his confidence to try and beat players the way he does is always sky high.

Riquelme and Ronaldinho stand out for me. Both have great teqnique, inntegliance(sp) and the gift to be able to do anything with the ball. I think i would put Riquelme slightly ahead of Ronaldinho simply because he imo can control the tempo f the game better than ronaldinho and seems to loose the ball less that him.

Rooney has great technique even though he is an English. He has fantastic control of the ball, has a great shot and can pretty much pass well.
The popular answers are Dinho, Henry, Riquelme, Kaka etc.

Might sound abit weird, but I think Deco. I mean, man. His touch is has got the biggest impression on me. It jsut so smooth. He can cover the ball against 3 men even though he is so small. Thanks to his amazing technique !
Then Riquelme and Ronaldinho I guess.

Technique:
1- The manner in which technical details are treated or basic physical movements are used; also : ability to treat such details or use such movements.
2- a : a body of technical methods b : a method of accomplishing a desired aim.
Judging from Webster's definition, I say Ronaldinho has the best techincal skills.
I also like:
Juninho Pernambucano - Passing, shooting, dead balls
Kaka - Passing, shooting
Stevie G. - Passing, shooting
Ronaldo - Finishing
Romario - Finishing
Bergkamp and Zidane obviously, but they retired.
We could also go into defensive skills, but I don't want to make it long.

In my opinion the most technical player is Ricardo Quaresma with FC Porto. He can drible very fast, he can passed and schooting very well. Of course he is ex Barcelona's player

A much techinc has Messi and C.Ronaldo too.
I have a question... Did C.Ronaldo and Quaresma was played together in Portugese League? Because they has a similary trick's and they're 2 fantastic dribel guys

But Henry and Zlatan is the most technical Foward in the World
