Rangers' hopes of landing Arsenal youngster Niklas Bendtner on loan appear to have fizzled out.
Ibrox manager Paul Le Guen had enquired about borrowing the Danish youth international for the forthcoming season, which starts at the weekend.
But the striker has been taken on the Gunners' pre-season tour of Austria.
The 18-year-old arrived at Highbury in July 2005 from FC Copenhagen and made three first team appearances in the Carling Cup last season.
Aw well, seems we still need a striker then
Allan.

Strange that, I thought Wenger would want him to go out on loan for some expierence - especially since its Le Guen thats in charge and their good mates and that Le Guen was a scout for him in France and probably found alot of his young players.

he's on loan till the January window only, so maybe one of the scottish clubs will get him for the second half of the season
i doubt it will be Celtic though after how Aliadiere was treated

Exactly...
I dont think an Arsene kid would be anywhere near Parkhead in the foreseeable future
