It was mentioned on several sites that Celtic is interested in signing Kluivert
I come to the land of THE GREAT CELTIC FANS to ask your insight on this issue
What do you think, Can Kluivert play in white and green this season
Allan.
As a Rangers fan, I am not scared if he joins Celtic, he is wayy past his best and is just clueless on the pitch nowadays. Nobody else wants him, Valencia have been trying to offload him for a while, but no-one will take him and Di Vaio.

As a neutral stepping away from the OF rivalry, no chance

He's on far too much money for Celtic to sign him, the same goes for Rangers

He won't end up in Scotland anytime soon

It seems whenever you ask a question on the Celtic forum the only people who bother to answer are Rangers fans. I think Kluivert is well past his best now. Maybe he could do a job at Celtic but not every big name player suceeds in Scotland.

I think money could be an issue in his transfer.......
But Celtic was so good to Larsson maybe it would do the same for Kluivert wink.gif
What do you think.....?! And please no low blows on Kluivert ....even I know he has had the worse season....

The thing is, Larsson was a lot younger when Celtic signed him and had his best years ahead of him. Kluivert is past his best.

We can do much better than him, when was his last good season or the last time he did something noteable??? shrug03.gif

Also, hasn't he had a few run-ins with the police? thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif

Just one last question...to the celtic fans
I"ve read about this possible move on the BBC sport section and several other tabloids but couldn't find anything about it in the official site so I wanna ask you are Celtic really interested in Kluivert and if you have some links to scottish football I would really appreciate it
THX a lot............

I don"t want to turn this topic into a one where I will have to defend Kluivert and you will attack him so please stick to the topic wink.gif and don't go on discussing Kluivert.....Maybe we could make a topic just to discuss Kluivert
Thx a lot

What, so I can't discuss Kluivert now.... g.gif

I was just saying what I think of the transfer and what he would bring to Celtic.

I didn't mean that I was talking about the police thing... the verdict was not guilty

You can discuss Kluivert as much as you can but its just that I think one thing will lead to another and soon this will just be a topic about Kluivert which doesn't belong here

But if you want to discuss Kluivert go ahead....
I am eager to hear from you cause he could help some good criticism and to be honest I am getting sick with the dreamland all other Kluivert fans are living in where Kluivert can still turn down offers right and left

Go ahead ...shoot biggrin.gif
Allan.
Last season was not his only bad season, his one at Newcastle was quite shite aswell aswell as the one before that and maybe even the one before that...

I think you had it backwards biggrin.gif
His last season, the one with Valencia was the worst in his history he struggled with a series of knee injuries but and wasn't back in training till 12 April 2006 He scored only two goals and hardly played sad.gif
On the contrary his Newcastle days were better and he managed to score 5 goals in 6 matches in europe and 6 goals domestic but his best days will always be with Barca and Ajax :yahoo:
Allan.
He was complete and utter shite at Newki, why didn't he start more often, why didn't they keep him?

Because he was not up to standards.

I still like Kluivert. He just got 30 years old, it's old but not nessisarely to old. The biggest problem he's having is that knee of his. I know for sure that he still gots the talent. AZ Alkmaar was interested in him couple of weeks ago. He should have went there.. He should leave Valencia for sure. Now Morientes is there, he has no chance at all.

I do not see Celtic signing him. The wages will be a problem, and I don't see him fit in Glasgow to be honest. I'd would love to see him come though smile.gif

what a great player he once was..
amazing how he just suddenly dissapeared at age like 26.. and was no longer good..
he used to be great..
I think he could pull something in Celtic
