Allan.
Other forums seem to have threads dedicated to some of their outstanding players, and there's none more so that deserves one at our club than the Dado.

How do you think he will fair in the coming season? with his knee problems etc?

I reckon he'll do just fine, and he'll still give his all for the club since it could be his last season.

Also when he retires I think we should give him a testimonial, anyone else think the same?
F6
The thing i feel with Dado is that you can always count on him givingg it 110% in every game , he will be missed by the rangers fans if he is forced to retire at end of season . Also he has been given the captains armband for the well game

PS : Im away on holiday and will be back on Monday thumbsup.gif
Allan.
Orite cheers mate.

He says he hasn't actually retired for the international stage yet, so we may just see him in our colours next season.

i think he should retire from international football, it extended alan shearers career

Maurinho
He said that this interview for RangersTv was from 2 weeks ago and that he wont play anymore for Croatia...
ThisBoy
its been in the papers over the last few days that he hasnt made a decision yet and he may come to an arrangement where he only plays in the big games

Yeah I know about that but I red many times that he wont play anymore for Croatia, he said that few times but maybe there will be arrangements that he will play first game in Euro qualifications vs Russia and vs England... The new croatian coach will go to Glasgow to ask him if he wants to play, I hope he will play again for Croatia... smile.gif
Allan.
I think he will, he just loves playing.
CaptainCarrots
Hopefully he'll play and bang a goal in against Ingerlund...

He'll have less pressure at Ibrox now anyway, with Boydie and Sebo coming in

Im back noticed that allan changed his name to bounce . I think dado definitely deserves a testimonial who would it be i think it would be pretty good if they played Croatia ...somehow i dont think he would like playing against rangers after one of the halfs
FlippinEck
maybe moncao, after all the french links with le guen etc

Talking of Dado, what a header on Sunday

Nice and bulleted, seemed to enjoy it
Allan.
It was a good header, brilliant. I'm suprised that hair of his doesn't have any air resistance or forse his head to tilt backwards though...
CaptainCarrots
I want the bandage back...

So often i've thought of sticking a ponytail to a bandage and having a Dado warrior look tongue.gif

Bolton boss Sam Allardyce says he is still ruing missing out on the signing of Croatian marksman Dado Prso.

Allardyce thought he had snapped up the big striker after trailing his Monaco progress for two months, only for then-Rangers boss Alex McLeish to jump in and snatch his signature.

The Trotters faced the Scottish side in a behind-closed-doors friendly last week and watching Prso in action just reminded Allardyce of what he missed out on.

"It took me about eight weeks every weekend going to see him at Monaco and he was looking to get out of there as he wanted a change of venue," he said.

"We thought we had clinched it at that time.

"He continued right through until the end with Monaco and then finally in the end Rangers nipped in and took him away from us.

"I can't blame him for that but it was a little disappointing for us having spent so much time on it.

"Having seen him for the first time in quite a while, I still kick myself that he didn't come to us."

Allardyce added that he expected 31-year-old Prso to be at the top of the scoring charts in Scotland this season.

"There is no doubting he will be a big player again," he told Rangers News.

"His quality in leading the line and finishing is exceptionally good.

"I think Rangers will probably have one of the leading goalscorers in the SPL on their hands."

Unlucky Big Same, but we have him smile.gif Not so sure he'll be top goalscorer this year though.

Nah, he's not a top scorer, just gives so much all round to the team

PRSO FINDS ANEW ROLE AS IBROX BABYSITTER
By Keith Jackson
PRETTY soon they'll be calling him Dado Day Care.

Rangers' Croatian warhorse has taken on the status of a senior statesman since Paul Le Guen became boss.

At 31, Dado Prso has almost 10 years on most of his team-mates as he spearheads the Frenchman's assault on the SPL title.

Seven of Le Guen's starting 11 were aged 22 or under as Rangers romped to a convincing 2-0 win over Hearts.

And Prso - a talismanic figure even before he was handed Barry Ferguson's armband - seems genuinely thrilled to be placed in charge of the talented kindergarten.

He said: "I guess I'm the Daddy now. I was looking at the squad list and everybody else seems to have been born in 1985 or 1987. I was born in 1974 so Lionel Letizi and I are the oldest but we have shown we can still do it.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
there has got to a chant in there somewhere for next matchday,im sure there was a song with the words "whos the daddy, you are baby" which could so easily be updated. laugh.gif .
still he is right he is the daddy at ibrox clapping.gif

CaptainCarrots
I loved the bit in the interview where he said "ooh la la"

We need the experience though, and is easily the most talented foriegner in the SPL
