ive seen this too ive wondered why also i always figured maybe he went out with FG and was slipping and had to switch to SG? or the other way around
that or they werent broken in well enough so they hurt and he had to change

^^lol...well he probably just didint feel comfortable in his boots and wanted to change, or if he was playing bad he might change them thinking it would help, its all mental.....

It's because Luis Figo is such a great player that he outplays his boots so he needs a new pair every chance he gets time to do so.
guys! we all know that its cuz figo actually only wears nike total 45's, they do not last the complete 90 minutes

some players warm up in two shoes, play one half in those pair and then change their shoes in the half time to the others they have also "warmed" up. maybe it is like a sort of tradition.
out of style or not if those are the boots he feels comfortable with, then that are the boots to play. when i started to play i was four and i played with adidas shoes called "uwe" mate, that was what i called "out of style."

Maybe he thinks it will help with blisters, because the boots get sweaty and your feet get slick and stuff. Just a thought.
