There has of course been a lot of talk about the Austrian hitman signing for the Gers but as yet Rangers haven't signed him... or have they?

Sebo Arrives In Glasgow

SLOVAKIAN star Filip Sebo has arrived in Glasgow for signing talks with Rangers after a deal in principle was struck with Austria Vienna over a transfer.

Filip Sebo won the double last season The 22-year-old flew into Scotland early this evening hoping to agree terms over a switch to the SPL.

Paul Le Guen has remained hopeful this week of capturing the striker and he may get his wish if everything goes according to plan.

A Club statement said: "Rangers can confirm that Filip Sebo is in Glasgow for signing talks after the club came to an agreement in principle with Austria Vienna."

Sebo started his career with Cologne in Germany and in season 2001/2002 scored 20 goals in 30 games. Two years later he returned to his homeland with Inter Bratislava before moving to rivals Artmedia in 2004.

During his only season with the Slovakian giants the hitman bagged an impressive 22 goals in 33 games, earning him a move to Austria Vienna. Last season he played 32 times as they won the Double.

Sebo is set to have a medical and discuss personal terms and if all things are equal he will be a Rangers player tomorrow.

RANGERS have clinched the capture of exciting Slovakian strike star Filip Sebo on a four-year contract.

A deal was agreed between the Ibrox club and Austria Vienna yesterday and after undergoing a medical examination this morning, the 22-year-old put pen to paper on his deal.Filip Sebo

Manager Paul Le Guen has been tracking the powerful hitman since last season when assistant boss Yves Colleu watched him in action in the Austrian Bundesliga.

The player made no secret of his ambition to join Gers after he learned of Le Guen's interest and he made a personal plea to the Austria Vienna owner to make his dream come true.

Now Sebo is ready to face Dundee United on Saturday - if Le Guen believes he is ready to step straight into the first team.

The Slovakian striker will train with his new team mates tomorrow at Murray Park for the first time when Le Guen will assess his readiness for involvement on Saturday.

NEW singing Filip Sebo says he is ready to make his Rangers debut on Saturday after clinching a four-year contract today.

Filip SeboThe 22-year-old striker ended weeks of torture when he signed on the dotted line at Murray Park and would love to make a debut in front of the Ibrox crowd against Dundee United.

He said: "I am fit and ready to play if the coach thinks I am ready. It would be fantastic to be involved in this game but I will wait to see what Mr Le Guen thinks.

"I'm very happy. This move has been in my head for a very long time and now I am a Rangers player.Filip Sebo

"It was difficult for me because I was so keen to come to Scotland. I contacted the owner of the club directly and asked him to make the transfer happen and thankfully the move has come true.

"It was really exciting to fly into Glasgow night and meet so many fans and I really look forward to playing for them.

"I know Rangers well. They are a big club in European football and I watched them closely last season because they played against my former club Artmedia Bratislava.

"It's a fantastic move for me and I hope to be as successful as I can."

Also i have never owned trackies that have cuffs at the bottom, for me they have to have no elastic at the bottom and preferably a zip If you see someone walking around in jeans, Cat boots, a beige/ or navy jacket with a casual shirt or a dressing t-shirt or long sleeved top, odds on he's from here. Also none of the Mcfly haircuts, short back and sides, with the hair gelled down, except i just get a 1 all over Fashion varies from the Mainland.
