Have I missed something? Did I blink and miss the signing of Filip Sebo? I must have as the bookies have him down as 7/1 to be SPL top scorer.
There has of course been a lot of talk about the Austrian hitman signing for the Gers but as yet Rangers haven't signed him... or have they?
Bookies Stan James seem to know something we don't, take a look at their top scorers odds and you will see Filip Sebo priced at 7/1 to be SPL top scorer!
Not bad for a man who still plays his football in Austria.
I've been hearing through the grapevine that a commentator in tonight's Celtic v Man United game mentioned that Rangers had signed an Austrian striker.
I wished someone had let us know!
Stan james have him down to be top scorer in the SPL... Either hes signed and Rangers are waiting to unveil him or they are being optimistic... very optimistic

It's a matter of time I guess. He wants to go, we want him, so they can't keep him. If he doesn't come this week, he will come right ebfore then end of the window. Fingers crossed, as it seems he is a talented lad.

Sebo Arrives In Glasgow
SLOVAKIAN star Filip Sebo has arrived in Glasgow for signing talks with Rangers after a deal in principle was struck with Austria Vienna over a transfer.
Filip Sebo won the double last season The 22-year-old flew into Scotland early this evening hoping to agree terms over a switch to the SPL.
Paul Le Guen has remained hopeful this week of capturing the striker and he may get his wish if everything goes according to plan.
A Club statement said: "Rangers can confirm that Filip Sebo is in Glasgow for signing talks after the club came to an agreement in principle with Austria Vienna."
Sebo started his career with Cologne in Germany and in season 2001/2002 scored 20 goals in 30 games. Two years later he returned to his homeland with Inter Bratislava before moving to rivals Artmedia in 2004.
During his only season with the Slovakian giants the hitman bagged an impressive 22 goals in 33 games, earning him a move to Austria Vienna. Last season he played 32 times as they won the Double.
Sebo is set to have a medical and discuss personal terms and if all things are equal he will be a Rangers player tomorrow.
He on his way. He'll be in the papers come Friday.

Sebo Joins Gers
by Lindsay Herron
RANGERS have clinched the capture of exciting Slovakian strike star Filip Sebo on a four-year contract.
A deal was agreed between the Ibrox club and Austria Vienna yesterday and after undergoing a medical examination this morning, the 22-year-old put pen to paper on his deal.Filip Sebo
Manager Paul Le Guen has been tracking the powerful hitman since last season when assistant boss Yves Colleu watched him in action in the Austrian Bundesliga.
The player made no secret of his ambition to join Gers after he learned of Le Guen's interest and he made a personal plea to the Austria Vienna owner to make his dream come true.
Now Sebo is ready to face Dundee United on Saturday - if Le Guen believes he is ready to step straight into the first team.
The Slovakian striker will train with his new team mates tomorrow at Murray Park for the first time when Le Guen will assess his readiness for involvement on Saturday.

Sebo Joy Over Ibrox Move
by Lindsay Herron
NEW singing Filip Sebo says he is ready to make his Rangers debut on Saturday after clinching a four-year contract today.
Filip SeboThe 22-year-old striker ended weeks of torture when he signed on the dotted line at Murray Park and would love to make a debut in front of the Ibrox crowd against Dundee United.
He said: "I am fit and ready to play if the coach thinks I am ready. It would be fantastic to be involved in this game but I will wait to see what Mr Le Guen thinks.
"I'm very happy. This move has been in my head for a very long time and now I am a Rangers player.Filip Sebo
"It was difficult for me because I was so keen to come to Scotland. I contacted the owner of the club directly and asked him to make the transfer happen and thankfully the move has come true.
"It was really exciting to fly into Glasgow night and meet so many fans and I really look forward to playing for them.
"I know Rangers well. They are a big club in European football and I watched them closely last season because they played against my former club Artmedia Bratislava.
"It's a fantastic move for me and I hope to be as successful as I can."

I really don't care as long as he bounces Mick McManus or Big Bobo to the ground for comedy value....
Put him up against Elvis Pressley and he'd be rolling around the shop

Seriously though, he can't be any bigger than Dado or J-Rod?
Allan.
Aug 3 2006, 03:50 PM
Doubt it, its just in the nike promotion shoot of him, where he is half naked, thats where he looks like superman, the rest he is just a Dado or J-Rod, but maybe a bit stronger than them, maybe they should have an arm wrestle.
Also on fm he has 10 for strength. Now i'm waiting for the backlash form you. The only reason I play it is because the laptop is right beside (where the keyboard for the pc should be) the pc, so its just there so i play it

Fromt he pictures that I have seen of him, its in the last year that he has put on all this muscle. In some of the old photo, jsut a couple of year old, he is nothing special. His goal tally speaks for itself though.

Former Hearts star Thomas Flogel played against Sebo last season and backed Venglos.
The Austrian said: "If Filip starts to run then nobody can stop him; he is like a train, he just smashes through defences. He is perfectly suited for Scotland because he is a little bit crazy, he really is.
"Sebo is very strong in the penalty box. In Austria, he can't really play with this physical style because the game is much slower-paced.
"He can definitely help Rangers. If you open the gates he will run through them to get the ball because he is always moving and looking to be involved

Can i make a confession, I have never worn a shell suit, never owned one for that matter, nor one of their top jacket things. Also i have never owned trackies that have cuffs at the bottom, for me they have to have no elastic at the bottom and preferably a zip

If you see someone walking around in jeans, Cat boots, a beige/ or navy jacket with a casual shirt or a dressing t-shirt or long sleeved top, odds on he's from here. Also none of the Mcfly haircuts, short back and sides, with the hair gelled down, except i just get a 1 all over

Fashion varies from the Mainland.
Anyways, Shifty, are you sure it wasn't you, or someone else on this board that said that because i am pretty sure someone on this board said something just like that. Or even is Thomas Flogel on this board, a Gers fan at that

Hence why the islanders can be spotted from miles away
Totally agree though, trackie bottoms have to have elastic or a zip, they must be able to sit wide over your trainer, not showing any sock
My last haircut cost me £46.50, so I can't start ripping anyone else about theirs
