for the past couple years, my boot of choice has always been the vapors....i love them but i feel its time to try something new. the problem is every time i try to switch it up and get a new type of boot, i end up sending them back to get vapors again...it seems like an addiction. i want to get a new pair and was thinking of the v1.06s. if anyone has done the switch before or had both pairs i was wondering what you thought....thanks!

what exactly do you like about the vapors? i've had it for like a week, and i have yet to find this appealing

I'd say the biggest difference is the toebox. For the Vapor 3, the toebox is a bit wider but shorter in height (it clamps on the part between your toes and top of your foot). The V1 is narrower, like a women's shoe, but more stretchier and tolerant for wider feet. Also they are not as tight as the Vapors, so maybe you wont get as many cramps or blisters, so this is down to preference.

Id say its not a life changing experience thats gona depend much on your performance, try them on in a shop and see if you like them!
