With local I mean like the biggest team in your city, it doesnt have to be the closest, like if you live close to a 4. division team it but in the same city as a 1. division team you might pick the 1. division team.
With big international i mean like clubs like Man Udt, Barca, Juve +++
I have been thinkin on this question for a while, I support my local team Tromsø, and the english team Chelsea. So I have been wondering wich team I support the most, and i are pretty shore that I support the local team the most. After all it is the team I have been close to and lived up with my whole life. I think there is created some bonds beetwen the fans and the club when you live close to the team and goes regularely to the stadium, wich cant be created by just watching the other team on tv once a week or something like that.
So wich team do you guys support the most?

Ha...my "local" team would be D.C. United, but I feel no loyalty for the awkward spectacle that is Major League Soccer--not after they began naming expansion teams with prefixes poorly stolen from foreign sides, such as Futebol Club Dallas and Real Salt Lake. Were Dallas in Mexico, I could see them supporting a "futebol" team--but it's an American city and, as such, sits squarely in "soccer" territory. I also doubt, somehow, that Spain's royalty have conferred the honor of patronage on the "pride" of Salt Lake. Two awful, (hopefully) tongue-in-cheek displays of cheesy marketing; I'm pissed.
So, yeah...I definitely support Juventus over my domestic league.

one with that I find weird..
I support Arsenal, Barcelona etc..
and I dont support any other dutch team then Ajax..
yet if Arsenal played ANY dutch team in the champions league..
even Feyenoord..
I would root for the Dutch team, just because they are duch... even though I dont really support them..
actually that sucks..
I really wished that i fully supported a team..
but I support players more then teams.. for instance.. I like Arsenal because of Van Persie and Henry..
but if Van Persie left to ManU.. then I wouldnt know what would happen, and I might even switch..
very weird..

I know what you mean with the player thing. Now that Duff went to Newcastle i find myself supporting Newcastle a little bit. And when Grønkjær went to Birmingham i supported them a bit too.
I understand if you dont have any real local team, or if you cant support them for any reason. But I find it hard to understand if anyone support their big team over their local team if they support their local team too.

ARSENAL ALL THE WAYEven when they are playing their worse games and even when they don't hold to the lead in a CL final I still love him and love all of their players.......Every single one of them
The first match I"ve followed between two clubs was in CL 1999....they were the reason I started watching club football and since I am from Lebanon I don't think there is any scare about the Arsenal Playing against my local team

and then on
National team level its Holland same thing with Arsenal but with an Oranje twist

But if thoose team would compete, wich would you support the most? '
That is what this topic is all about. If your local team meats your big team, shall you not support the local team, the team you have grown up with and have always been closest to you?
