JOIN THE GATE AND HELP SUPPORT ADELAIDE UNITED!!

Our Vision - The Gate will be loud, vibrant and colourful.

'The Gate' involves supporters of all ages, genders and heritage. 'The Gate' is inclusive and
welcoming. We don't think anybody should be too embarrassed to sing and chant. We want
supporters to leave the match smiling and full of feverish anticipation for the next game.

'The Gate' will assemble behind the southern stand at Hindmarsh pre-match before moving
to our area behind the southern goals to focus our energy towards the team.

You've probably seen us before, you've definitely heard us before, we're at every home
game and most of the away games.

'The Gate' is football friendly - we are there for the great game, the beautiful game, the
world game, to barrack for our team, to support the club and to drive them on with energy
and pride.

C’MON YOU REDS!!! - thegate@gateaufc.com | gateaufc.com

I encourage all memebers to help support. There is no official membership or fee to pay, all we want is for you to join us at the Southern End cheer on our team and make Hindmarsh as loud and colourful as possible.

We are looking to grow in numbers this season and expect some good things from the Gate for 2006/2007. Also fans keen to go to the big away trips should look out for Get Mobiles. The bus trips are entirely paid for by the club and all you have to pay for is the match ticket. It is superb fun, I went on my first GM to Sydney last season and enjoyed every second of it.

So wear Red, come to the Southern End and cheer on the mighty Reds! biggrin.gif

If you have any questions then you have the contact details above or just ask me how to get more involved. thumbsup.gif

Start with this Friday v New Zealand, everyone is welcoming. biggrin.gif

heard adam on the 5AA-League show trying to spread the word last sunday too. Hope they get heaps more fans there. I sat down that end last year few times but not with the gate. Hope to go to many more games this year and maybe even NZ one this friday. Will have to sit near the gate too in the future as they make a great atmosphere. Also the road trips sound awesome too!!!

Owww they are great fun. I went for the major semi and even though we lost I had so much fun. The atmosphere was great and our march to the stadium was awesome. We had the cameras following us in and all the Sydney fans just stopped as we sounded like an army charging in. laugh.gif

I hope to go to Melbourne in Round 1 too.

I haven't sat with the Gate before at home matches despite talking regularly with most of them but I hope to sit with them this season.

I hope to be there Friday, if not, I will DEFINATELY be there for the season opener and every home game there after.
